Our Mentee Program
I Love Me is structured to expose the mentees to a wealth of experiences.
Group meetings with mentors and mentees are held the 3rd Monday of each month. The program will run in 1-year cycles. This will allow mentors and mentees to develop meaningful relationships. During such time, new mentors and mentees can join the program.
We develop and enhance education, community, leadership, confidence, teamwork and creativity.
During the 10-month cycle, the group will participate in at least 6 group meetings including, but not limited to discussion groups, field trips, and community events. At the end of each cycle mentors and mentees will have a chance to evaluate their progress and the program. Also, give feedback and have the opportunity to continue with the program. Mentors will spend a minimum of 4 hours of one-on-one time with their mentee to strengthen their personal relationships and work on personal development.
We will also incorporate the entire family during each cycle with an event that brings everyone together.

TESTIMONIES
I like the flexibility of I Love Me. Everyone has busy schedule however the leader does a good job of catering to all people so that not only the mentees benefit but the mentors as well. It is definitely rewarding.
The I Love Me Mentoring program is the greatest thing that happened to me because it has taught me so much it showed me how life is outside of school, what should my top priorities be, and most of all to love myself. I am grateful that I joined the I Love Me program.
I feel that the I Love Me Program does a good job of catering to the mentees and their request providing them with knowledge and experiences that they will be able to use in the real world.
